The Anatomy & Physiology course is designed for students of all experience levels and provides a comprehensive theoretical foundation in human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. The course emphasizes understanding the structure and function of the human body systems and the practical application of this knowledge in emergency and clinical settings.
Instruction is delivered through a variety of learning modalities, including lecture, guided discussion, seminars, audiovisual multimedia presentations, case studies, written quizzes and examinations, and laboratory activities. This diverse instructional approach supports student engagement and reinforces critical concepts.
Please note that this course is not accepted by local community colleges as a prerequisite for their paramedic programs.
Upon successful completion, students will earn 72 hours of Continuing Education (CE).
