Dean’s Message
The COVID-19 emergency has affected every aspect of our lives. We’re grateful that our students remain committed to their EMS career goals. That decision has become more significant in these trying times, as our community needs EMT’s and Paramedics now! Rest assured, the shortage of EMS professionals is as real as the COVID virus.
As EMSTA College slowly begins to prepare for face-to-face lecture and as the County continues to update the guidelines, I want to emphasize to everyone that the safety of our students, faculty and staff is a top concern. While we will continue to have students on-campus for skills labs, we remain committed to the success of our students and want to support their ability to gain the education and skills necessary to begin a rewarding career in EMS, with safety being our major goal.
I realize that this is not an easy task and want to thank all students, faculty and staff for their hard work. I assure you that if you stay the course, we will get through this together. The EMSTA family will prevail!
Stay safe!
