Our hearts here at EMSTA College go out to everyone impacted by COVID-19 (coronavirus). As both higher education professionals and healthcare professionals, we know you have been consumed with addressing the many challenges the virus is causing in your education, homes and workplaces.
EMSTA College has been closely monitoring the impact of COVID-19 on our educational programs. We are enacting an action plan to keep students, faculty, and staff safe. All of the San Diego County EMS training programs have been impacted by COVID-19. Our clinical and capstone field sites have enacted plans and processes that have affected our clinical and capstone field education.
EMSTA College will follow the suggested isolation/quarantine recommendations from Local, State and Federal Governments to limit the spread of COVID-19. As such:
EMSTA College will be temporarily closed as of today, March 16, 2020 until May 4, 2020.
